Loblaw Agency is seeking a Manager, Art Direction to work on our famous President’s Choice brands, Canada’s number 1 and most trusted CPG brand. If you are excited about working on original creative for Canada’s most beloved brands, and if you thrive in an engaging, fast-paced environment, we’d like to meet you This role requires effective creative and design skills for a wide range of Marketing materials, both print and digital, and ranging from signage to social media. The impact you'll make: Responsibilities Collaborate with creative leads, writers, and production artists to create original and customer-centric advertising concepts, social media posts, and other content for print and digital purposes Create graphics and advertising materials to support Control Brands Marketing initiatives Lead projects from concept through to final production Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Development, and Strategy departments to deliver cohesive campaigns Ensure creative transfers effectively into French language and bilingual versions Work effectively with outside suppliers such as photographers and printers when required In the know for latest design trends and familiar with competitor Marketing programs Stay up to date in terms of GEN AI and creative technology Build creative decks and present concepts to Marketing partners and Business stakeholders as needed Provide on-set art direction by working with photographers, stylists, and production teams to ensure visual consistency, brand alignment, and high-quality execution of creative concepts Execute designs by creating and refining layouts, typographic treatments, and visual assets that bring concepts to life across print and digital formats Bring a strong sense of storytelling, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving to all projects What You’ll Need Experience: 6+ years in graphic design; experience in CPG and food advertising is an asset. Technical Skills: Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Microsoft Suite. Familiarity with Jira a plus Creative Competencies: Advanced graphic design, typography, storyboarding, and art direction Professional Attributes: Ability to prioritize, strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, confident presenter.
