Senior QA Automation Engineer - Permanent - 18770 – LRO Staffing Job Overview We are recruiting for a QA Automation Engineer at a west‑end client headquartered in Kanata. The company operates several global offices and serves a worldwide client base. Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, you will join an agile team of QA Engineers, Software Testers, Software Developers, AI/ML Engineers, and Product Owners. The focus will be on exploratory testing using both automated and manual practices across the entire platform—including feature, endurance, regression, and integration testing. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using TDD principles; support the full software development life cycle.• Perform exploratory testing to identify defects early, ensuring optimal software quality, integrity, and performance.• Engage in feature, endurance, regression, and integration testing using automation and manual methods. Qualifications B.S. degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field 5+ years of test automation experience with exposure to Test‑Driven Development and end‑to‑end lifecycle support Strong scripting/programming background using C#, JavaScript, Python and tools/frameworks such asасан Selenium, Postman, Playwright, Katalon, etc. Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation, AI/ML and data‑lakehouse testing, AWS/Azure cloud, system/network configuration, and tools such as Kubernetes, Helm, Databricks Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to work autonomously and within a team Benefits and Compensation Competitive salary range: $80,000–$120,000Generating generous vacation, RRSP matching, and a comprehensive benefits package.
