Position Reporting to the Director of Market Data Management, the Senior Market Data Analyst will manage the financial market/index data database and work with internal and external stakeholders to keep records up‑to‑date and accurate. The ideal candidate understands market/index data management practices, has knowledge of invoice and accounts payable processes, and experience with market data management systems such as TRG Screen or similar. Responsibilities Provide administrative oversight of IGM’s market data database system (TRG Screen). Act as subject matter expert for all aspects of the market data database system, including record inputting, data extraction, need identification, record keeping, and invoice processing. Enter daily market data contract information, invoice details, and user files within the system. Maintain an accurate catalogue and storage of market data contracts and design a reference system to facilitate easy identification and retrieval. Update stakeholders on procurement schedules and upcoming contract renewals. Manage the invoice intake mailbox and ensure timely updates. Act as a control function for authorization of market data requests and documentation of new or removed services within the database. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive efficiencies, improve processes, and resolve issues. Identify continuous improvement opportunities to advance automation and efficient invoice processing. Generate insights and trend analysis for market data spend and usage, and maintain dashboards. Execute and operationalize the Market Data Strategy through process efficiency, spend transparency, and data governance. Provide backup coverage for IGM’s Source‑to‑Contract platform SME, including eSignature processing for supplier contracts. Requirements Minimum 3 years of work experience (ideally within the financial services industry). Good understanding of market data/index data contracts and invoices. Basic knowledge of contract attributes and contract inventory. Excellent communication skills and time‑management. Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Strong analytical skills to gather relevant information, identify key issues, compare data, and develop well‑supported recommendations. Able to clearly convey ideas, information, and materials to individuals and groups. Preferred Demonstrated experience with data analysis and reporting. Experience working with TRG Screen, Excel, Power BI, Ivalua, or other Source‑to‑Pay tools; ability to navigate vendor portals. Experience working with database and data analytical tools.
