State Street is seeking a DLP Platforms Technical Support Lead for our Security Platforms team, part of the State Street Cyber Fusion Centre. This team designs, manages, and supports the security tools that enable security operations across State Street, including threat detection, incident response, threat hunting, vulnerability management, and other key functions. Preferred location is United States – Boston/Quincy Massachusetts. What you will be responsible for Leading and mentoring a team of technical support engineers specialising in DLP platforms Ensuring timely resolution of support tickets and adherence to SLAs Tuning and upgrading system components, following internal testing and change management processes Working with key stakeholders and vendors to implement new or additional DLP capabilities to enhance data protection Contributing to projects that improve current DLP capabilities, drive adoption, and enable future growth Conducting root cause analysis for recurring issues and implementing preventive measures Acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues related to DLP platforms Partnering with Cyber Fusion Centre teams to ensure DLP platforms meet operational needs within DLP Program Operations, Insider Threat and Incident response What we value Experience operating and supporting DLP tools across multiple security domains such as Network, Email, Endpoint and Web Knowledge of enterprise DLP platforms (e.g., Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian Endpoint DLP, ProofPoint, Microsoft Purview) Strong skills managing application deployments, configurations and updates on Linux (RHEL) with command, filesystem, permissions and process management knowledge Understanding of current data protection, information security, and cybersecurity practices Direct experience managing, mentoring and leading teams Collaborative environment fostering knowledge sharing Problem-solving mindset with a collaborative working style and strong work ethic Experience in a 24/7 security operations environment, focusing on reliability and availability Education & Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of experience in IT support, cybersecurity, or related field A degree is not required, but a qualification in information security or information systems may be beneficial Security certifications may be beneficial (e.g., CompTIA CASP+, GSEC or similar) Experience in financial services may be beneficial Additional Requirements This role may be filled in United States – Boston/Quincy Massachusetts Supports 24/7 operations which may require weekend work Why this role is important to us Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), enables the business to deliver data and insights to clients.
