Overview What is the opportunity? The Senior Manager, Digital Analytics & Experimentation is a hands-on individual contributor role within RBC’s Data Collection organization, reporting to the Director of Data Collection. This role leads digital experimentation and advanced analytics across web and mobile platforms, partnering with product, marketing, design, and technology teams to drive data-informed decision-making. The focus is on designing and evaluating experiments, ensuring high-quality digital measurement (primarily using Google Analytics), and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
While Conductrics is the current experimentation platform, the role values tool-agnostic expertise and broad analytics experience (e.g., Adobe, Amplitude). What will you do? Lead the design, execution, and analysis of digital experiments (A/B, multivariate, personalization) across RBC’s digital properties. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify experimentation opportunities, define hypotheses, and establish success metrics.
Ensure experiments are methodologically sound, statistically valid, and aligned with business objectives. Translate experimental results into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders. Own digital analytics measurement using Google Analytics (GA4), ensuring data accuracy and reliability. Collaborate with tagging and implementation teams to support analytics instrumentation.
Perform deep-dive analyses to uncover user behavior, friction points, and growth opportunities. Act as a trusted analytics partner, ensuring adherence to data governance and compliance standards. What do you need to succeed? Must-have: 7+ years of experience in digital analytics and/or experimentation roles.
Hands-on experience with experimentation concepts and execution (platform-agnostic; Conductrics experience is a plus). Solid experience with Google Analytics (GA4). Strong understanding of experimentation design, statistics, and result interpretation. Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice-to-have: Experience with Adobe Analytics and/or Amplitude. Background in financial services or regulated environments. Familiarity with mobile app analytics and measurement. Proven ability to influence without authority and build cross-functional partnerships.
