Senior User Experience Researcher – Siemens Healthineers Overview We are pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare and are looking for a Senior UX researcher to support service‑based software projects across the organization. This role requires residence in Eastern Canada with less than 25% travel and proximity to an international airport. Responsibilities Gain deep user understanding through explorative and generative research, especially in new domains. Identify user needs, behaviours and motivations to inform product strategy and innovation. Translate findings into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Partner with designers, product managers, developers and stakeholders to identify research needs, plan and execute research. Moderate ideation workshops with a global multi‑disciplinary team. Define measurable UX goals and testable metrics aligned with project objectives. Ensure user insights influence design concepts and solutions. Advocate for end users and promote a research‑ and data‑driven culture. Qualifications Master’s degree in Human‑Computer Interaction, Psychology, or related field. 8+ years of industry experience in user research with strong expertise in explorative and generative methods. Ability to think conceptually, work in ambiguous, early‑stage product development and balance constraints in a regulated industry. Extensive experience collaborating with product management, designers and developers to influence strategic decisions. Strong communication skills; ability to tell compelling data‑driven stories to product teams and senior management. Medical knowledge or experience designing medical devices is a strong asset.
