As an Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM) Consultant you will guide and assist clients through all phases of an Oracle Cloud SCM implementation. The successful candidate has completed three or more end‑to‑end implementations in Oracle Cloud SCM, demonstrates expert advice and guidance, and applies creative approaches to resolve integration obstacles. Responsibilities Lead mid‑to‑large and complex consulting projects simultaneously. Consult with clients to provide cost‑effective solutions using in‑depth knowledge of Oracle SCM applications and industry best practices. Work collaboratively with project teams and client employees to develop, test, and implement Oracle Cloud solutions. Refine customer requirements in detail, document, and present to the client for approval. Identify and apply creative approaches to resolve product implementation and integration obstacles and problems. Analyze current systems and data to identify new requirements and determine systems enhancements or modifications. Develop unit test scripts and coordinate with the client to perform User Acceptance Testing of system enhancements or custom solutions. Work with Oracle to resolve service requests. Lead and direct the following phases of the system life cycle: gather business requirements, analysis, design, configure, and develop solutions for Oracle SCM applications; conduct conference room pilots (CRPs) and User Acceptance Testing; prepare for Go‑Live and cut‑over support; provide post‑production support; develop and implement long‑term client strategies. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, effectively communicating with clients, team members, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and keeping all parties informed about project progress and changes. Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives, challenges, and technology requirements; conduct thorough assessments to identify areas where technology can drive improvements and efficiencies. Provide expert advice on technology solutions and tools that can enhance client operations and help clients make informed decisions about adopting and implementing new technologies. Collaborate with third‑party vendors and suppliers to source necessary hardware, software, or services; negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms for the client. Offer ongoing technical support to address any issues or concerns that arise after implementation. Continuously monitor performance of implemented solutions to identify areas for improvement or optimization; provide recommendations for updates, upgrades, or modifications as needed. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience as an Oracle Functional consultant with 3+ years of experience in implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud projects and upgrades. Strong expertise with Procurement Management and one or more of the following modules: Order Management, Inventory Management, Cost Management, Product Information Management, Manufacturing, Maintenance, or Logistics. Strong consulting experience and business analytical skills to gather and document business requirements, lead fit‑gap analysis, design business processes, manage conference room pilots (CRPs), perform functional configuration, and manage testing of ERP SCM solutions. Proven experience with guiding clients through business process improvements. Ability to lead a team, work independently, and manage multiple task assignments. Prior experience leading or managing projects. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills. High commitment to exceed performance expectations. Ability to write functional specifications based on user requirements. Senior enough to independently handle client expectations and maintain a positive attitude under stressful circumstances. Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Willingness to travel as needed. Preferred consulting experience in a similar role in a professional services firm or strategic level experience at a strategic level is required. Previous experience working in IT companies. In‑depth knowledge of relevant technologies and systems. Education Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, etc. MBA, relevant master’s degree, or PhD.
