Position Overview Reporting to and collaborating closely with the Senior Sales Manager – Americas, the Sales Manager will manage all direct and reseller sales activities in Eastern and Western Canada. The role includes developing new business from phone, email, tradeshows, targeted outbound efforts and other lead sources, while promoting Merrithew® products to drive sales revenue and expand the direct sales and reseller network. Major Responsibilities Sales Meet and exceed annual set sales quotas. Promote, negotiate, sell and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a consultative, relationship‑based sales approach. Respond urgently to customer and prospect inquiries and prepare written presentations and price quotes. Develop a comprehensive understanding of key customers and partnerships, both direct (pilates studios, fitness clubs, yoga studios, education partners) and through resellers. Identify cross‑channel sales opportunities and recommend solutions to the team. Visit direct accounts and reseller partners to train staff, pitch customers and strategize on new business development opportunities. Assist the Senior Sales Manager – Americas, USA & Canada in onboarding new reseller partners. Collaborate with the marketing team to align regional marketing efforts. Notify partners of releases, price changes and discontinued items with Sales Coordinator support. Maintain in‑depth product knowledge across all lines of business to present competitive features and benefits. Ensure partner websites follow Marcom guidelines in collaboration with the Sales Coordinator. Research industry trends, new products, technical services and competitive activities. Report on customer needs, technical issues, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services to management. Business Development Research assigned territory, understand competitive landscape and identify new sales opportunities. Understand trade show opportunities and represent Merrithew® presence. Pass reseller leads to the Senior Sales Manager – Americas for qualification. Collaborate with equipment/education partners to create local events. Build network and pursue new opportunities using LinkedIn, Facebook and trade associations. Attend and participate in trade shows, conventions, sales meetings, product seminars and visit prospective customers. Administrative / Customer Service Manage forecasts, close deals, and track customer data using CRM tools with an accurate sales funnel. Expedite resolution of customer problems, logistical issues, and complaints with relevant departments. Perform other tasks and responsibilities as required. Skills and Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in business development and/or account management. Bilingual: able to speak both English and French to serve the territory. Independent, self‑motivated, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. Proficient in CRM tools with rigorous notes and pipeline management. Strong business judgment and decision‑making skills; able to prioritize high‑impact initiatives. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. Willingly willing to #J-18808-Ljbffr
