Job Description The Growth Leader, Water role supports our Municipal Infrastructure business development focused on Water, Wastewater, and Conveyance. The role can be based out of AECOM's offices in Mississauga, Markham, or Hamilton and will coordinate with leadership at all levels to drive client-centred relationships and initiatives. It presents an exciting opportunity to work with clients across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area on innovative water projects and solutions in Canada and beyond. Responsibilities Identify upcoming municipal infrastructure pursuits with emphasis on the municipal water, wastewater and conveyance markets that align with AECOM’s water business line and growth strategy. Serve as AECOM’s primary point of contact with clients, continually considering how clients can be best served by AECOM and ensuring a high-quality service is delivered. Understand AECOM’s obligations on current client contracts. Regularly meet with client staff at multiple levels to obtain feedback on performance and identify opportunities. Monitor client satisfaction and address performance issues. Ensure public-sector clients become a sustainable source of repeat business. Develop marketing and client-capture strategies. Lead the proposal development process including Statement of Qualifications, technical proposals and presentations. Manage, support and/or lead project teams on the design of water and sanitary sewer conveyance systems; municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities; infrastructure condition assessment and rehabilitation; master planning, and other studies. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Proven water, wastewater or conveyance planning, design, and/or construction experience. Business development experience and knowledge in at least one of the following: water or wastewater treatment, conveyance systems, planning studies, condition assessments, rehabilitation and repair projects. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Civil or related Engineering discipline preferred. Proven track record with client account management, relationship development, brand elevation, project pursuit execution, and engineering/technical sales. Experience in the full spectrum of client service, starting with positioning activities, proposal development, and delivery of project designs. Exceptional technical skills and experience managing/delivering municipal infrastructure projects. Desire to serve and lead in a deliberate and focused, yet fast-paced team environment. Familiarity and experience in project management and contract administration in a complex work environment. P.Eng designation is an asset. Benefits & Compensation Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $155,000 to $185,000 annually.
