KD RANCHKD RANCH CASUAL LABOUR HANDExciting employment opportunityKD Ranch is a Ranch has been built from the ground up by a young passionate family and we are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate candidate to join our team.Benefits for the successful candidate:• Learn the ins and outs on building and running a ranch & join us in our exciting growth• Gain valuable experience on animal husbandry skills• Gain valuable experience on training and marketing animals* Gain skills of hard work, dedication, and how to critically think• Enjoy the beauty nature and the animals bring• This could possibly open up other employment opportunities for the right candidateQualifications:Drivers License is an asset & must have their own Reliable Transportation to the ranch.Hard work ethic & Mature worker who pays attention to detailA love for learning• Reliable & Good Communication• Good ability to follow and to take direction/instructionsPatience and flexibility• Experience with animals and farm work (preferred, we will train the right enthusiastic candidate)• Ambitious and the ability to work affectively without supervision• Passion for the ranch way of life & a love for animals• Willingness and ability to work physically hard and to work some long days when needed• Good prioritization, Efficiently, ability to stay motivated WITHOUT supervision, & time management skills• Ability to follow through even when challenges presentJob expectations:• Must be willing to work weekends & some Weekdays (We can work around school hours).• Labour work: must have physical stamina & willing to work in variety of weather conditions• Assisting with calving and foalingDaily care, feeding, & care for the well being of cattle, horses, pigs, chickens, dogs.• Fencing & various maintenance• Cleaning manure & a willingness to do the dirty jobs along with the fun jobs• General farm clean up and yard maintenance• Assisting with haying & driving machinery (if not trained we are willing to train)Assisting with halter breaking and basic training of horses and cows• Good and comfortable with children as our children will be working along side many jobsCasual position: Dec 20* 2025 - March 315t 2026 (With possible summer work). Min 10-20+ hours week expectation (more during busy seasons). Starting Wage: $15-$18/hour depending on experience, maturity, & work ethicAge requirement: 15-30 years (only because of the program we are going through) Preference given to mature applicants.Send Resume to:
