Your Role: As a Senior Java Developer at QUBER, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our application's scalability. You'll dive deep into Spring Boot applications, ensuring robustness and efficiency while leveraging AWS to its fullest potential. Your expertise will be vital in setting up comprehensive monitoring, deriving insights from telemetry, and troubleshooting, ongoing improvements to enable scalability. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable and highly available applications using Spring Boot. Analyze and improve the performance of our applications and underlying databases (MySQL). Implement and manage telemetry solutions to monitor the health and performance of applications and infrastructure. Set up Application Performance Monitoring tools, dashboards, and alerts to proactively address and resolve issues. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain technical solutions. Spearhead the architectural design and development of robust, secure, and scalable APIs and RESTful services. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers. Skills/Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong understanding of Spring Boot. Proven experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting of Spring Boot applications. Proficiency in AWS services, capable of architecting and managing scalable and secure cloud-based solutions. Experience in setting up and using monitoring tools and APM solutions (e.g., New Relic, DataDog). Strong database skills, particularly with MySQL, including performance analysis and optimization. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile development methodologies.
