The ideal candidate will have a solid background in setting up and managing office networks, including experience with NAS setups. This role involves ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. Responsibilities: Design, set up, and configure complex office networking environments, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers. Implement and manage NAS solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and data integrity. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot network problems and outages, schedule upgrades, and collaborate with network architects on network optimization. Provide technical support and guidance to staff on network usage, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures, contributing to team knowledge management efforts. Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing, and implementation. Ensure network and IP connectivity of all workstations, application servers, and back-end office infrastructure. Enforce network security best practices, including regular updates and patches to network devices. Document network problems and resolutions for future reference. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of (X) years of experience in network administration and support, specifically in office network and NAS setups. Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, and VPN. Experience with major networking hardware brands and network operating systems. Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Network+) are highly desirable. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud services and infrastructure is a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Team player with the ability to work independently.
