The District Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of Home Financing Advisors (HFAs) towards achieving established sales targets and meeting the overall goals for the Home Financing Team. The incumbent works closely with HFAs to ensure that sales management activities, disciplines and behaviours are instilled and sustained to meet business objectives of Home Financing Solutions. The focus is on sales and people management by providing value‑added feedback and coaching to HFAs to realize their fullest potential and maximize mortgage sales and revenue. The candidate also supports the Regional Vice President (RVP). Responsibilities Deliver objectives as measured within a Balanced Scorecard (BSC) that includes Financial Objectives, Customer Experience and Operational Effectiveness. Financial Objectives: funded mortgage volume, cross‑sell, Key Partner development, productivity. Customer Experience: measured by survey results (Business to Customer & Business to Business). Operational Effectiveness: risk, compliance, operational process. Lead and manage a team of Home Financing Advisors by focusing on sales management activities, providing direction and support, fostering relationships with referral partners, conducting coaching sessions and meetings, observing interactions with customers, and collaborating with RVPs on business plans. Lead the implementation of initiatives and achieve business objectives in the District by defining roles, developing marketing strategies, championing innovative approaches, motivating HFAs, resolving issues, ensuring compliance with the Bank’s Privacy Code and AML/TF guidelines, and escalating issues to the Regional Sales Director. Qualifications 8–10 years of related industry experience, 5+ years of managing large teams, university degree or college diploma in a related discipline, expert residential mortgage product knowledge, expert knowledge of sales management disciplines, current knowledge of mortgage lending policies and real estate market trends, remote role with required travel to downtown Toronto.
