Plant Project Engineer VIE

Join to apply for the Plant Project Engineer VIE - (F/M/D) role at Air Liquide Part of the AMG Plant Project Team, composed of 5 collaborators, you will be supporting our primary production plants all over Canada and USA in the execution of their major capital investment projects. Your main stakeholders will be the Production, Maintenance and Business Development Team. Based in Montreal, Canada, you will be part of a diverse and multicultural team. French is the primary language, though most interactions will be in English. You will work for a global leader in the gas industry, highly involved in the energy transition, industry decarbonation and breakthrough technologies. Exposure to diverse and impactful projects supporting the performance of the Group in Canada and the United States. You will be involved from development to project execution, thus covering all phases of a technical project, including engineering and commissioning. Responsibilities Apply engineering and technical knowledge guided by the Group technical standards and design rules compiled in the Industrial Management System (IMS). Manage overall project with excellence to ensure safe and reliable delivery and achieve the project KPI's. Achieve high safety performance by applying all safety rules within the project. Manage key stakeholders. Manage risks and mitigation plans. Are you a MATCH? Education Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Processing or Chemical Engineering. Must have Ability to travel in the US and Canada. General knowledge including but not limited to Civil, Structural, Process Control, Electrical and Instrumentation engineering. Knowledge of project management methodology, tools and techniques. Experience in Project Management. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Good adaptation skills. International and intercultural mindset. Nice to have Experience in equipment sizing and engineering calculations. Experience in industrial gas, industrial projects, ideally Air Separation and Cryogeny. PMP or Other Project Management certificate is preferable.
