Senior OSS/BSS Application Specialist

Overview Holt Executive are partnered with a global Satellite and Space leader that provides reliable and secure satellite-delivered voice and high-speed data communications solutions to broadcast, telecommunications, corporate and government customers worldwide. Our partner is seeking a Senior OSS/BSS Application Specialist to play a vital role in the administration, configuration, and support of the OSS/BSS suite. Responsibilities Configure, customize, and maintain OSS/BSS modules such as order management, inventory management, service fulfillment, and billing. Monitor application performance and proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve issues. Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Participate in system upgrades, patching, and release deployments to ensure smooth operations. Support integration between OSS/BSS applications and other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, network management platforms). Analyze and enhance workflows to improve user experience and operational efficiency. Provide Level 2/3 support for incidents and service requests. Coordinate with vendor support teams to resolve issues and manage change requests. Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and user guides. Support user training and onboarding activities. Qualifications A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in the support and/or implementation of Netcracker OSS/BSS applications. A strong understanding of telecom business processes (order to cash, service provisioning, customer lifecycle management). Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), as well as UNIX/Linux environments, and shell scripting. Some experience with integration technologies including SOAP/REST APIs, XML, and middleware platforms. Knowledge of ITIL practices and experience using ITSM tools. Experience with network inventory and resource modeling within Netcracker. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools is a bonus. The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and be able to obtain Reliability Clearance. This opportunity offers a hybrid work model with 4 days in the office per week.
