Advanced Field Services Engineer | New Brunswick, Canada (On-site) Permanent | Full-time | Travel up to 20% About the Role Seeking an experienced Advanced Field Services Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize Honeywell automation and control systems across multiple industrial sites in Ontario, Québec, and New Brunswick. This hands-on role involves troubleshooting, commissioning, and upgrading Honeywell Experion PKS and DCS systems, ensuring operational excellence, system integrity, and top-tier customer support. Key Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade DCS, SIS, and automation systems for optimal performance. Install, service, and repair control and network equipment both on-site and in-house. Configure and administer system domains, controllers, switches, and client-server architectures. Perform preventive maintenance, system audits, and hardware/software upgrades. Provide commissioning, startup, and technical support for new and existing installations. Diagnose and resolve logic, programming, and integration issues, including third-party communication (e.g., OPC). Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, training materials, and reports. Act as the primary technical contact, fostering strong customer relationships and continuous service improvement. Qualifications / Skills Post-secondary education in Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, or Instrumentation 3-5 years’ experience with Honeywell Experion PKS and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) Experience with virtualization infrastructure Previous field service or installation experience Strong communication, troubleshooting, and customer management skills Demonstrated initiative in technical learning and professional growth Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 20%
