One of these divisions, located in Moncton, Irving Personal Care, is the only manufacturer of baby diapers and training pants in Canada, Personal Care produces baby diapers under their Royale® brand as well as private label diapers, training pants, and swim pants for North American retailers. We are excited to partner with them in search for a Vice President, Finance to join their team. As a key member of the Executive Management Team, the Vice President, Finance will report to the General Manager and will assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The VP will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility of accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic financial planning, manufacturing costing, pricing & deal analysis and oversee the information system management. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include: Drive employee experience and engagement initiatives that foster a culture of inclusion and belonging; Lead finance team members and engage with corporate finance teams to meet all requirements of reporting, forecasting, costing and customer pricing & profitability; Provide guidance in establishing pricing strategy and enhance pricing control & reporting; Ensure effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax & law regulations; Work effectively with senior management team to develop and execute strategic business plans, including analysis and identification of opportunities and performance improvement. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: Bachelor's degree in relevant field; 10-15 years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in manufacturing and/or consumer goods company; Strong business acumen with proven abilities to drive top and bottom lines of a complex business; An innovative leader who embraces technology and continuous improvement; Highly skilled in communication, able to build relationships across sales, operations, and other internal stakeholder groups; Agile, curious, and hands-on, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and leadership.
