Solution Architect – Enterprise SaaS

Role & Responsibilities Guide financial institutions through the adoption of enterprise SaaS solutions by applying deep understanding of end-to-end architectures—from legacy platforms to modern cloud SaaS environments. Articulate the business value of the Client’s platform within each bank’s broader architectural ecosystem. Collaborate closely across internal product, engineering, sales, and delivery teams, as well as with customers and industry partners, to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, strategically aligned, and aligned to client business objectives and modernization roadmaps. Engage in solving complex business challenges through technology, with an ability to translate architecture decisions into business outcomes. Objectives Enhance Customer Value Through Strategic Engagement – partner with clients to understand priorities, co‑create architectural roadmaps, and position the Client’s platform within their end‑to‑end ecosystems. Drive Enterprise SaaS Architecture Excellence – provide complete architectural guidance from legacy transformation through SaaS adoption, ensuring designs are robust, scalable, and aligned to business and technical goals. Foster High‑Performing Cross‑Functional Collaboration – mentor team members, champion best practices, and support alignment across engineering, product, and delivery functions. Components of the Role Collaborate internally with SMEs, business stakeholders, and technical leadership. Operate as an external client‑facing architect to ensure successful delivery outcomes. Required Technical Skills Extensive enterprise SaaS experience with strong client‑facing solution delivery background. Strong technical foundation in banking architectures, including core banking, modernization, pricing, and billing across retail, corporate, and commercial banking. Ability to design scalable, secure, and reliable systems leveraging microservices, APIs, and integration frameworks. Experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps pipelines, and automation tooling. Knowledge of identity management, encryption, and regulatory standards (SOC 2, GDPR, ISO 27001). Ability to produce clear and comprehensive architecture documentation for development and delivery teams. Delivery Responsibilities (Solution Architect – Delivery Focus) Act as the primary Solution Architect during delivery engagements, working hands‑on with client teams to ensure implementation aligns with the defined target architecture. Provide architectural oversight throughout delivery, including design reviews, integration decisions, data flow modeling, and resolution of technical blockers. Ensure continuity between pre‑sales solutioning and delivery execution, maintaining architectural integrity and solution intent. Partner with project managers and engineering leads to validate requirements, guide technical workstreams, and ensure delivered outcomes meet the proposed architecture. Additional Skills Strategic Problem Solving: Ability to design innovative, technology‑driven solutions aligned to business strategy. Communication & Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language. The ideal candidate brings strong autonomy, strategic judgement, and exceptional executive‑level communication and influence skills. A minimum of 8+ years of banking/banking domain and architecture experience and 12+ years of overall industry experience is required.
