CoreFactor is searching for an Infrastructure Analyst to join one of our clients in the GTA on a contract basis. Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting all network equipment and services in the LAN, WAN, and WLAN. You will implement technology changes, provide day‑to‑day support of the production environment, and offer technical assistance for any network‑related issues. Role Responsibilities Administer an enterprise‑class Cisco network environment. Maintain 24/7 support and resolution of network problems on the LAN/WAN. Ensure high availability on all aspects of the LAN and WAN, including remote site infrastructure network hardware. Troubleshoot network problems and implement changes through the organizational change‑management process. Deploy, configure, and update Cisco Nexus and Catalyst hardware. Monitor network performance, analyze data flow to identify issues, provide recommendations, and resolve them. Assist remote site engineers with remote site configurations and deployments. Maintain security systems, including firewalls, routers, and switches. Create and maintain procedural documentation. Maintain a hardware database for network inventory and perform OS and hardware upgrades of the network devices to keep them current with industry standards. Provide 24×7 on‑call availability via cell phone as needed. Requirements 5 years of experience supporting a Cisco enterprise‑class network. 5 years of experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst hardware. 5 years of experience with wireless technologies. Expertise in Cisco Catalyst and Nexus Switches, Cisco ASR and ISR routers, F5, Cisco wireless controller, ASA, Cisco ISE, Fortinet firewall, and Cisco Firepower. Advanced knowledge of VLAN, VTP, stacking, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, trunking, ether‑channel, STP, SPAN, RSPAN, IPv4/6, VSS, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, multicasting, QoS, VPN, MPLS, ACLs, AAA, layer‑2 security, NAT, and Nexus VPC. Advanced knowledge of wireless technology, network management, and analysis tools such as OpManager, Cisco Prime, ISE, and Wireshark. Cisco certification required (CCNA, CCNP, etc.). Good understanding of MS Active Directory, O365, WINS, DHCP, VMWARE, and DNS is an asset. Good understanding of SD‑WAN, VMware NSX, and Distributed Firewall is an asset.
