To meet our rapidly growing, we are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Construction Electrician who can help us complete a variety of construction projects in an efficient, effective, and safe manner. They must be able to perform various on-site tasks, and make sure every construction site is perfectly safe.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations.• Pull wire through conduits and through holes in walls and floors.• Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment.• Install, replace and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels.• Splice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits.• Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement or repair.• Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and replace faulty components.• Connect electrical power to audio and visual communication equipment, signalling devices and heating and cooling systems.• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.• Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.• Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts.

Job Requirements:• Completion of electrician degree is required.• Completion of electrician apprenticeship program is preferred.• At least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working as an electrician is required.• Valid electrician trade license in Ontario is required.• Must be at least 18 years old and above.• Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment• Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams• Be able to perform strenuous physical tasks, such as loading and unloading of various building materials and tools and operating heavy machinery and equipment.• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
