Manager Casualty Claims ADR- Accident Benefits Allstate Canada is seeking a forward‑thinking subject‑matter expert to lead our Accident Benefits Claims team on a remote basis. About the Role The Manager will oversee a team Claim Advisors, drive loss containment, improve customer experience, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. The position reports to the Senior Manager, National Accident Benefits. Accountabilities Provide operational leadership and direction to a capable team of Claim Advisors, ensuring cooperation to meet performance requirements. Provide detailed analysis to recognize opportunities and reduce adverse trends, building plans to capitalize on opportunities. Develop employees through coaching and feedback, preparing them for developmental and career opportunities. Recommend, implement, and maintain an optimal organization design, aligning roles, accountabilities, authorities, and tasks. Actively seek ways to improve customer service, efficiencies, employee engagement, and cost containment through continuous improvement methodologies. Collaborate with Claim Managers to drive and deliver on departmental objectives. Ensure performance and development plans are in place for all direct report employees. Provide ongoing direction to the team to achieve targets. Participate in Talent Pool Assessments. Qualifications Minimum 3-4 years of Casualty Claims experience in Accident Benefits. Strong people leadership and management experience. Enrolled in, or completion of, CIP designation. Advanced MS Office knowledge, especially in Excel. Advanced knowledge of business technology systems. Advanced knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements such as Provincial Insurance Acts. Bonus Qualifications Working knowledge of foundational management systems; Continuous Improvement, Agile, Change Management. Working knowledge of Tableau would be considered an asset. Compensation Expected compensation for this role ranges from $74,000.00 to $120,000.00 annually. Actual salary offered will vary based on skills and experience.
