Base pay range CA$20.00/hr - CA$22.00/hr Location: Scarborough, ON Pay Rate: $20–$22/hr Position Overview: We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics and be comfortable handling high‑volume invoicing and accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Process and post accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) transactions accurately in Microsoft Dynamics. Enter invoices, perform batch processing, and generate financial reports. Ensure high‑volume invoice accuracy while maintaining attention to detail. Reconcile accounts and assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities. Utilize Excel for data analysis, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and reconciliation tasks. Support billing processes in a fast‑paced environment, maintaining efficiency and compliance. Work with multi‑entity or multi‑currency accounting transactions as required. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure proper accounting practices and documentation. Qualifications Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics (AR/AP modules). Solid understanding of accounting principles, including debits/credits and general ledger processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables. Experience handling billing in fast‑paced environments; industry‑specific experience is a plus. Ability to manage repetitive tasks with high accuracy. Experience with multi‑entity or multi‑currency accounting is preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Problem‑solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
