Work Experience: 7-10+ years as a Technical Business Analyst, Agile SCRUM, User Stories, Epics, Use Cases, web-based applications, Java, PostgreSQL, SQL, CBAP

DESCRIPTION:

  • Work with the program and product manager to develop project scope and timeline for identified initiatives
  • Analyze and interpret user requirements , create user stories, use cases , and system architecture documents
  • Participate in design and testing activities and participate in system implementations
  • Assist with maintaining and documenting systems
  • Perform data validation checks
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of business processes, standards, and procedures
  • Identify, quantify, and document business process improvements
  • Create user documentation, including process flows, roles and responsibilities, and use cases
  • Identify and resolve system-specific issues through research and analysis
  • Participate in other activities as required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and analyze new technologies and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Gather, analyze, and document customer information, needs, and existing processes
  • Develop and communicate technical requirements, including design, build, and test plans
  • Identify, validate, and mitigate technology risks
  • Work with the Solution Architect to develop innovative, efficient, effective, and scalable solutions
  • Write user stories and epics
  • Validate epics
  • Evaluate usability and scalability of potential solutions
  • Work with business stakeholders and IT to implement changes
  • Design, document, test, and implement software solutions
  • Execute and support infrastructure audits and reviews

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business or a related field
  • 7-10+ years work experience in a technical business analyst role
  • Strong experience in Agile methodology and practices
  • Java developer experience - mandatory
  • PostgreSQL, SQL experience
  • Proven ability to research, troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
  • Strong data-gathering and analysis skills
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication - mandatory
  • Agile certification – an asset
  • CBAP certification – an asset
