Head of Sales (B2B Healthcare | HealthTech) Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid) Function: Revenue Leadership Direct Reports: Existing sales team About the Role Lead our established B2B sales organization across insurers, brokers, employers, and strategic channels. Own the end‑to‑end revenue engine—strategy, execution, operating cadence, and talent—while partnering closely with Marketing, Product and Clinical/Ops to deliver predictable growth and outstanding customer outcomes. What You’ll Own Revenue Strategy & Planning Define the go‑to‑market plan by segment and channel; set territories, quotas, incentive mechanics, and quarterly priorities. Establish scalable sales motions for net‑new acquisition, partner co‑sell, and expansion/retention. Team Leadership & Coaching Lead and develop an existing team of Account Executives (hunters), Account Managers (farmers), and SDRs. Build a high‑performance culture: hiring profile, onboarding, enablement, certification, and ongoing coaching (discovery, multi‑threading, negotiation, enterprise procurement). Operating Cadence & Forecasting Run weekly pipeline/forecast reviews and deal strategy sessions; maintain stage hygiene and approval workflows. Partner with Finance on forecast methodology and with Legal/InfoSec on deal velocity and risk management. Partner & Channel Revenue Operationalize partner revenue with brokers, insurers, and strategic channels (e.g., wellness/EAP, retail/fitness/medical spas), including joint business plans, co‑marketing, and co‑sell playbooks. Process, Tooling & Governance Own CRM standards, stage definitions, acceptance criteria, and pricing guardrails. Implement a deal desk and approval matrix; standardize proposals, redlines, and close plans. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Align with Marketing on MQL‑>SQL SLAs and campaign feedback; inform Product roadmap with market signals; coordinate with Clinical/Ops on service readiness and SLAs. What Success Looks Like (KPIs) Consistent attainment of the new logo and expansion goals across priority segments. Healthy pipeline coverage and stage conversion performance per company policy. Improved win rates and shorter sales cycles through disciplined deal execution. Forecast accuracy within agreed tolerance bands at monthly and quarterly checkpoints. Strong gross and net revenue retention driven by effective AM playbooks. High partner satisfaction via joint planning, co‑sell execution, and QBR discipline. Team excellence: hiring against scorecards, ramp time adherence, and enablement completion rates. What You Bring 8–12+ years in B2B enterprise sales with 4+ years leading multi‑role teams (AEs/AMs/SDRs). Proven success selling complex healthcare or benefits‑adjacent solutions to large organizations through direct and partner channels. Mastery of enterprise sales methodology (e.g., MEDDICC/BANT), executive storytelling, pricing strategy, and negotiation. Experience building repeatable partner/channel revenue (joint business plans, co‑marketing, co‑sell governance). Strong operational rigor: pipeline design, stage gates, forecasting, and CRM discipline. Collaborative leadership style; comfortable interfacing with Clinical/Ops, Product, Finance, and Legal. High integrity, data‑driven decision‑making, and a bias for action. Nice to Have Background in payer, benefits, or healthcare delivery ecosystems. Experience scaling in high‑growth environments and standing up new channels. Familiarity with security, privacy, and compliance requirements is standard in healthcare sales.
