Relevant de la première directrice – Relations gouvernementales – Gouvernement fédéral et Ontario, la personne retenue pour le poste jouera un rôle important dans la promotion des politiques qui soutiennent l’expérience de voyage des passagers, les objectifs de la Société et les contributions de l’entreprise au Canada, le tout en veillant à ce que le secteur du transport aérien et ses complexités soient bien compris. Si vous êtes une personne proactive et créative, ayant de l’expérience dans les secteurs des politiques publiques et de la représentation, et que vous recherchez un défi stimulant au sein d’une équipe diversifiée et dynamique des Relations avec les gouvernements et les collectivités, nous voulons vous rencontrer. Notre importante empreinte exige que les membres de notre équipe fassent preuve d’un haut niveau de diligence pour cerner les nouvelles politiques et les nouveaux règlements qui pourraient avoir une incidence sur des domaines tels que le transport, le commerce, l’environnement et le travail, entre autres. La collaboration est au cœur de ce poste afin d’établir, de favoriser et d’entretenir des relations entre Air Canada et tous les représentants (élus ou non) et leur personnel aux paliers fédéral et provincial (Ontario) ainsi qu’avec les municipalités de la province. Baccalauréat dans une discipline pertinente, une exigence. La personne retenue doit répondre aux exigences d’inscription au Registre des lobbyistes auprès du gouvernement fédéral. Expérience préalable dans les relations gouvernementales ou avec les parties prenantes (5 à 10 ans) et connaissance du processus de prise de décisions des gouvernements, une exigence. Connaissance de l’industrie du transport aérien, un avantage. Bilinguisme (français et anglais), à l’oral et à l’écrit, un atout. Solides compétences en communication, à l’oral et à l’écrit. Excellentes habiletés en matière d’analyse, d’organisation et de planification. Excellentes habiletés pour la prise de decisions. Excellentes habiletés pour les relations interpersonnelles. Capacité à bien travailler sous pression et à respecter des délais serrés. Compréhension approfondie des politiques. Solides compétences en informatique (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Faire preuve de ponctualité et de fiabilité pour soutenir le succès global de l'équipe dans un milieu trépidant.
