About the Opportunity Jerry.ai is building the first super app to make car ownership affordable and accessible – insurance, buy/sell, registration, loans, safety, repairs, parking, etc. We’ve launched multiple products and have over 5M customers. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will take full ownership of our infrastructure, automating, scaling, and ensuring reliability of our systems and CI/CD pipelines. You will be a strategic partner, designing and implementing solutions that enable our engineering teams to move faster and deliver high‑quality products. Key Responsibilities Take full ownership of Jerry’s infrastructure, including managing our cloud accounts end to end, ensuring robustness and security. Develop systems and components that improve operational simplicity and reliability of Jerry’s product systems (e.g., monitoring, deployment automation, diagnosis tools). Build systems and tools to manage security access and capacity planning of cloud resources. Collaborate with product teams to guide systems architecture and provide recommendations for reliability and optimization of production systems. Coordinate production incident handling across teams. Qualifications B.S. degree in Computer Science or related discipline. 5+ years of experience working with Amazon AWS services and tools (ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, ElasticCache, ELB, ECR, CDK, etc.). Meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on keeping systems up. Solid coding skills, preferably in Python or Go, with familiarity in Node.js and TypeScript, and strong system analysis and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical writing skills. Highly motivated and thrive in dynamic, fast‑paced environments with a passion for building scalable, highly available cloud systems.
