Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – Client: Financial Sector – Location: Toronto (Hybrid) – Duration: Six Months (Potential for extension) – Language: English. Background Our financial sector client requires the services of a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support Cloud Platform and Product Components. Qualifications Must have recent 3+ years of work experience in leading a team 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud and Software Engineering 5+ years of experience on CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps platforms: Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Jenkins/AWS CodeBuild, Vault, ELK stack Hands‑on experience on container technologies, such as EKS, Docker, service mesh Strong knowledge on AWS networking services such as Transit Gateway, Route 53, firewall AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate level certification required, Professional preferred Knowledge across Cloud Security Practices and Tools, Architecture, FinOps and Cost Governance Lead continued improvement efforts for operational efficiency and improvement Tasks Support Cloud Platform and Product Components Lead troubleshooting and issue investigation and resolution Provide technical strength to lead Cloud Operations team activities, members, and escalation support Strong knowledge of Service Management and ITSM processes Regularly peer‑review code for accuracy, best practices, and operational stability Ensure strong cloud security and cost management controls are maintained Note Please note this is a contract position with one of our clients and not a full‑time employment role with Kyndryl Canada.
