You can work from home and be located anywhere in Canada. If you are located in Ottawa you will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week in our Ottawa headquarters. About The Team The Visual & Interactive Design Specialist supports the creative team in creating visual content for a variety of media and projects. The incumbent will create beautiful, clean and engaging marketing collateral, spanning multiple mediums and platforms, including websites, social channels, landing pages, newsletters/emails, print booklets, event booths with physical signage, videos, presentations and more. This role is supported by the Creative Senior Manager as a member of the Global Corporate Marketing team at Kinaxis and will act as an instrumental partner in design elements of marketing projects. What You Will Do Design beautiful, clean and engaging marketing collateral, spanning multiple mediums and platforms, including websites, social channels, landing pages, newsletters/emails, print booklets, event booths with physical signage, videos, presentations and more. Proactively drive the evolution of Kinaxis’s brand across all mediums and platforms working closely with the Design, Marketing and all other cross‑functional teams. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure that our marketing collaterals are clear, understandable and visually compelling. Stay up to date with design trends and best practices. Closely collaborate with our Creative Team to bring a cohesive brand to the world across all marketing touchpoints with the utmost attention to craft and detail. This includes illustrative, typographic and design compositional craft, and motion graphics. Scale the brand’s guidelines and content clearly, concisely, and fearlessly through existing content and pushing the barriers of where we will be next. Provide design feedback and guidance to internal teams as well as partner vendors, agencies on local and global marketing initiatives when needed. Partner with other cross‑functional teams such as Communications, Content, Product, and Events teams to creatively scale out brand moments through content. Actively seek and openly receive feedback for your work; give and solicit feedback and constantly strive for excellence. What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field. Demonstrated experience as a brand designer with 3–4 years’ experience either agency, brand or both. A portfolio site with samples of work along with descriptions of what you contributed to the project. Articulate, concise, oral, and written communicator with the ability to consider input from others to determine the best course of action. Use of empathy, literacy, and active listening skills with the ability to provide recommendations and feedback with confidence. Analytical skills with an inventive approach to work through problems to arrive at well‑constructed recommendations.
