Vendor Manager - Supplier Risk Management at FP Inc. Project Name: business as usual activities The Manager, Supplier Risk Management, will support Capital Markets' supplier management activities, focusing on low‑criticality engagements. This role will be a key contributor to the supplier lifecycle process by ensuring supplier performance through ongoing monitoring activities and coordinating Service Organization Control (SOC) reviews to validate supplier controls and maintain compliance standards. The Manager will provide expertise in third‑party risk assessments, due diligence, and compliance while working closely with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risks and drive process efficiencies across the portfolio. Primary Responsibilities Performance Management Management of supplier performance monitoring activities through the supplier manager attestation Stakeholder management to ensure timely completion of performance management questionnaires and attestations Service Organization Control Reviews Collect and review the SOC reports for the CM portfolio and ensure the reports are current and meet RBC's compliance requirements Coordinate annual SOC review and document any control gaps with the Supplier Manager Monitor remediation of any identified control deficiencies and track closure timelines Maintain documentation of SOC reviews within the internal SOC repository Escalate any critical control failures or non‑compliance issues as required Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, business units (BUs), and governance offices to manage supplier engagements from onboarding to offboarding Assist BUs in conducting third‑party risk assessments and due diligence to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements Engage with suppliers to collect necessary documentation and information for due diligence and risk assessment processes Required Program / Technology / Software Knowledge Archer (would be an asset) Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) Must-have Skills 2+ years at a Canadian Financial Institution an asset At least 2 years of relevant experience in supplier management, risk management, or a related field Experience in Cyber Security or supplier acquisition projects is an asset Ability to manage supplier‑related documentation and compliance requirements Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders Nice-to-have Skills Familiarity with commercial purchase contract language is a plus Knowledge of risk assessment frameworks and tools is an advantage Capital Markets knowledge an asset Soft Skills Clear and concise communication Relationship building Problem‑solving and adaptability Organization and attention to detail Seniority Level Associate Employment Type Contract Job Function Supply Chain and Management Industries Staffing and Recruiting, Banking #J-18808-Ljbffr
