Strategic Alliance & Partnerships Manager Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. Affirm is committed to building lasting partnerships with merchants for long‑term growth and ongoing revenue generation. As a Strategic Alliances & Partnerships Manager you will work with some of the company’s largest and most strategic partners to drive revenue, GMV, and users. The role is high‑profile, partner‑facing and requires outstanding relationship management and strategic planning skills. What You’ll Do Manage a large partner portfolio and develop and drive strategic initiatives for business growth. Oversee expansion opportunities, optimize existing programs, and set strategic direction for projects. Own a proactive client management strategy to drive incremental GMV, revenue, and users. Analyze partner performance and recommend programs to increase product adoption, up‑funnel awareness, and expansion. Orchestrate cross‑functional teams across Product, Technical, Credit, Analytics, Marketing, and Risk to execute partnership initiatives. Pitch new lines of business to partners and own the strategic roadmap to highlight the value of the company and establish integration paths. What We Look For 7+ years of B2B client‑facing experience, preferably in high‑tech. Excellent customer relationship management and account management skills. Experience managing cross‑functional projects with strong attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills (proposals, memos, presentations). Excellent analytical abilities to review merchant performance and report on program impact. Experience negotiating and closing commercial contracts (RFPs, renewals). Ability to adapt quickly, take initiative and go beyond responsibilities. Ability to craft compelling value propositions and drive stakeholder engagement. Knowledge of consumer finance offerings, integrated software solutions, and e‑commerce is preferred. Comfortable using Salesforce and BI tools. Pay & Benefits Pay Grade: KEquity Grade: 5On‑Target Earnings: $163,500 – $238,500 per year. Compensation includes base pay, equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). Benefits include health care coverage, Flexible Spending Wallets, competitive vacation and holiday schedules, and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP). Remote Work Affirm is a remote‑first company. Most roles can be performed anywhere within the country of employment. Some roles may require occasional presence at an assigned office.
