Consultant, Production Application Support Join the CIBC Capital Markets Technology team as a Consultant in Production Application Support. You will be responsible for ensuring production delivery, ongoing operations, and adherence to operational standards for applications and infrastructure. This role includes 24/7/365 on‑call support, incident and problem management, service continuity, and stakeholder communication. Responsibilities Deploy, validate, accept, and operate applications across the capital markets production environment. Act as the central point of contact for production issues and cross‑LOB application coordination. Plan, manage, and execute annual service continuity tests and health‑check monitoring. Build, monitor, and report alerting processes; continuously improve performance and reliability. Collaborate with development peers to maintain N‑1 state for applications and infrastructure. Manage vendor‑managed services, evaluate SLAs, and report KPIs to stakeholders. Qualifications Strong operations and development background within a financial institution, especially Payments or FX systems. Experience managing Enterprise Tier 1 applications running 24/7/365. Proficiency with Linux/Unix, Jira/Confluence, SQL, Azure Cloud, JavaScript, MongoDB scripting and PowerShell scripting. Hands‑on networking knowledge; DB2 experience is an asset. Degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field. Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and change‑management skills.
