Primary skills: Production Support / Application Support, SQL, Unix
Additional skills: Ability to write DB scripts, SQL scripts, knowledge of Netezza, Datasynaps, Gemfire (preferred but not mandatory)
Mandatory skills:
1. Excellent communication skills - the associate will be the main contact for production escalations, communicating with offshore team members, business partners, and other stakeholders.
2. Determining root cause and delegating to the correct resource(s) for resolution.
3. Taking ownership and following up until resolution to ensure timely delivery of batches.
4. Providing consultation and design input for user requirements, functional specifications, data analysis, and testing strategies.
5. Planning and coordinating promotions during parallel and user acceptance testing phases.
6. Ability to work in shifts and provide extended support if needed.
