Position Overview The Health and Safety Advisor is responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and monitoring health and safety hazards in the workplace. Developing strategies to prevent, control, and eliminate accidents and occupational injuries, ensuring compliance with both organizational and government health and safety standards. Additionally, the Advisor manages the claims process for Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), and Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) claims, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, tracking, and resolution. This role is crucial for fostering a safe, compliant, and supportive work environment.
