They are seeking a Director of Finance to join their team This leadership role involves managing the accounting team, supporting financial reporting, and driving process improvements. About the Opportunity Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Manage daily accounting operations (AP/AR, general ledger, reconciliations). Prepare and review financial/KPI reports; ensure GAAP and regulatory compliance. Develop and maintain accounting policies; drive process improvements. Ensure compliance with local, provincial/state, and federal financial regulations. Coordinate FX hedging efforts with parent company. Align reporting and compliance across jurisdictions with finance teams. Lead annual audits; liaise with external auditors and tax consultants. Drive special projects (e.g., financial automation, fixed asset system upgrades, accounting changes). Oversee cost accounting and inventory management with operations. Partner with FP&A on forecasting and strategic decision support. Lead and develop accounting team; manage performance and succession planning. Provide financial guidance to internal stakeholders; support data-driven decisions. Monitor accounting standards and regulatory changes impacting the business. Approve staff expense reports in line with company policy. Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as required. About You CPA Min 10 years of Controllership experience in a managerial capacity Coming from a mid to large company with a multi-entity structure Broad oversight of several finance functions (ex.
