Position Summary Reporting to the District Manager, the Store Manager (SM) leads the day‑to‑day operations of a single store to achieve all sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory control, brand representation, and team member growth and development. Key Responsibilities Lead and coach the store staff, fostering a people‑first environment. Drive sales and profitability while maintaining brand standards and visual merchandising. Co‑ordinate inventory control and merchandising decisions at the store level. Deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience through training, outreach and follow‑up. Analyze operational reports, identify trends and develop action plans to improve performance. Support diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and maintain a respectful workplace. Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards and regulatory requirements. Schedule and manage staffing to ensure coverage for all operating hours. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned. Employee Experience & Development The SM is responsible for talent selection, onboarding, ongoing coaching and development in operations, sales techniques, customer service, product knowledge, inventory control and visual merchandising. The SM sets performance expectations and monitors progress against desired behaviours. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of college education. At least 3 years of retail sales experience, OR 2 years of retail sales experience plus a minimum of 1 year of retail management experience. Preference for candidates with speciality retail or jewellery experience. Preference for candidates who are Diamond Council of America (DCA) certified. Advanced communication skills (written and verbal). Proficiency with computers and MS Office. Strong interpersonal, presentation and conflict‑management skills. Ability to work independently, plan and organize tasks, set priorities and delegate effectively. Reliable and dependable. Bilingual skills are a plus. Physical Demands The role requires standing, walking, reaching, and moving between display cases. Physical demands include lifting or moving up to 10 pounds. Visual acuity sufficient to discern gemstone quality is required. Standard workweek may include weekends, evenings, holidays and extended hours. Travel for training or meetings may be required.
