The Opportunity

Process bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees Monitor and audit weekly employee timesheets in When I Work for accuracy and approvals Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and eligibility tracking Support store teams by responding to payroll-related questions and inquiries Support onboarding & training process to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires. Prepare employment letters, contracts, and HR documentation What We’re Looking For A genuine passion for people—you believe employees are the heart of the business 2+ years of payroll and benefits administration experience Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation (or in progress) an asset Working knowledge of payroll legislation and employment standards Experience with payroll and HRIS systems; familiarity with Payworks and When I Work is an asset Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Position Details Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Sunday to Thursday (after probationary period can shift to Monday to Friday) Salary: $60,000 per year Why You’ll Love Working Here At GARDENWORKS, we believe in supporting our people both professionally and personally.
