Daily work responsibilities for this position:

·        Exceeding expectations to our diverse client base

  • Professional and effective correspondence with clients, regulatory agencies, lawyers, engineers, surveyors and industry peers

·        Coordination of projects with our experienced land administration and land agent teams

·        Effective communication and direction to teams

·        Consultation and acquisition for various surface interests

·        Manage all aspects of a project from Public consultation, ROW acquisition, regulatory compliance, construction and reclamation and land requirements for regulatory filings


Skillset of the successful candidate:

·         High level of integrity and ethics

  • Exceptional reporting and management skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity, confidence and commitment to work on linear projects
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize a variety of urgent tasks

·         Field experience with surface land acquisitions, construction attendance

·         Rural and Urban field experience with acquisitions and third-party agreements

·        Excellent analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive, friendly, and professional interaction with co-workers and clients
  • Experience using Spin II, ETS, OneStop, EDS system, ILRR, myLTSA, CORES, and ISC
  • Knowledge of First Nations/Metis Consultation process
  • Experience with Regulatory Acts and their corresponding guidelines, including but not limited to AER, BCER, AUC, CER, and Land and Property Rights Tribunal

·        Experience with attendance before various Boards and Authorities is a benefit but not required


What you need:

·         Land Agent Diploma or similar alternative

·         Valid Alberta Land Agents License (preferred)

·         Valid Driver’s License

·         Valid Commissioners for Oaths in the Western Provinces
