Responsibilities include:

  • Creating CAD (Catia/NX) parametric math models for BIW upperbody components/subassemblies using Knowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniques.
  • Position requires extensive knowledge of Teamcenter and NX modeling and an extensive background developing, packaging, and releasing BIW components and subassemblies.
  • Additional responsibilities include managing internal and external suppliers, supporting pre-production and launch activities at vehicle assembly plants (US, Mexico, CA), creating and maintaining CBOM and quadris, benchmarking, and other responsibilities as required for the role/program.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent bachelor's degree with experience.
  • 2+ Years of CAD modeling with Siemens NX
  • 2+ Years of Robust Modeling with Siemens NX
  • 2+ Years of Parametric CAD Modeling with Siemens NX
  • 2+ Years of Body in White (Automotive) Engineering Experience
  • Strong English Speaking skills, including technical language
  • Strong Engineering Design Project Presentation skills required
  • Remote Work with ability to travel to supplier/Stellantis sites as required
  • Proof of Covid Vaccination will be required

Preferred Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of Body in White and/or Closures CAD Engineering experience
  • 5+ Years of body experience
  • 5+ Years of CAD Parametric Modeling with Siemens NX

Additional Information / Must Haves:

  • In-plant body shop experience
  • Vehicle launch experience
  • Sheet metal (BIW upperbody/underbody or closures) design and release experience (KBE trained)
