Industrial electrical troubleshooting drives this hands-on Markham opportunity with an established Canadian automotive metal-stamping manufacturer. Work across complex machinery and production systems.
Kellow Recruiting is partnering with an established manufacturer seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician. The work includes stamping presses, automated systems, motors, drives, sensors, and PLC-controlled machinery. You will support production, maintenance, and tooling teams while minimizing downtime and addressing equipment issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot electrical faults on stamping presses and production machinery
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
- Diagnose motors, drives, sensors, relays, and contactors
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Maintain accurate records and follow lockout/tagout procedures
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario 442A or 309A electrician licence
- Minimum three years industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred
- Strong hands-on manufacturing electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and equipment manuals
- Practical PLC troubleshooting experience
