Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting skilled tradesmen and operational teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor - 442A Electrician Location: Etobicoke, ON Pay Range: $88000 - $90000 plus bonus and overtime Shift: Monday to Friday - 8am to 4pm What's the Job? Supervise a team of skilled tradesmen including Millwrights and Electricians and maintenance staff to ensure efficient operation of machinery and equipment Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and modifications of production machinery, plant equipment, and facilities Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and prioritize repair activities to minimize downtime Develop and implement maintenance procedures using computerized management systems Oversee installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment and machinery What's Needed? College Diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred; 442A Electrician is required Minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience in maintenance or related fields Strong knowledge of building systems including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and reports effectively Experience within Automotive or Steel industry is an asset What's in it for me?
