This position reports to the Operations Manager and involves working with clients, Sunbelt's Operations team, and on-site staff. As a member of our field staff, you’re part of a large team that shares the workload and supports one another. Field staff are responsible for delivering and installing temporary fence, collaboratively supported by supervision from our Supervisor and Operations Manager. Job Description Summary We are looking for motivated candidates to join our team as a Fence Installer & Driver. Responsibilities Deliver and install temporary fence; assist with setup and teardown as needed Work with a crew under guidance from Supervisors and the Operations Manager Load and unload trucks; ensure timely and accurate delivery to job sites Provide excellent customer service and resolve on-site issues in collaboration with the Operations team Complete operational paperwork as directed (e.g., job reports, truck inventory logs, site checklists) Qualifications Experience driving a one-tonne truck delivering materials to and from various job sites safely Experience supervising a crew and acting as lead hand on site Familiarity with safely setting up and tearing down fence Experience completing operational paperwork (job reports, truck inventory logs, site checklists) Knowledge of Sunbelt’s products/services and ability to resolve customer issues Experience working with Operations team to solve on-site issues Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Clean driver's abstract and valid Class 5 license Ability to work weekends/longer hours when required Physical ability to lift and move heavy fence panels Ability to navigate to sites safely and efficiently Must have own transportation; safe and defensive driving habits Experience with operating tablets and smartphones Knowledge of general tools and equipment (drills, power washer, painters, banding equipment) is an asset Benefits & Culture Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits program Prescription, paid sick day & vacation, vision coverage, disability coverage Group RRSP plan, company-wide profit-sharing program Tuition & Tool Reimbursement, Boots Allowance Career development in the equipment rental industry; internal advancement opportunities Safety-driven culture and supportive team environment Commitment to safe, inclusive, and sustainable communities Physical Demands The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more, with outdoor/indoor work as required.
