Leading the Procurement team, this role is accountable for sourcing and awarding a wide variety of procurement contracts and monitoring deliverables of contracts within company policies, procedures and governance. Edwards/SAP systems and internal controls.* A valid Class 5 unrestricted driver's license or the ability to travel and visit vendor sites.* Excellent negotiation, results driven, verbal, written communications skills, interpersonal and leadership skills.* Extremely meticulous, organized, detail-oriented, strong blend of business acumen approach to work and strong technical background.* Effective multi-tasking with excellent time management and organizational skills.* Proficient in MS Office, SharePoint.* Preference for candidates with ERP System experience such as JDE, SAP.* Successful track record dealing with suppliers, subcontractors, and cost reduction strategies.* Confidence and enthusiasm when communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.* Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines within team environment.* Experience in competitive bidding project execution.* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and PST/GST.* Quick learner, detail oriented with strong planning and analytical skills.* Management in a unionized environment will be considered an asset.* Academic background in Engineering will be considered an asset.* A combination of education and experience may also be considered.* Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $120,000 - $135,000 annually.
