Project Manager – Redevelopment CAMH (Centre of Addiction and Mental Health) is seeking a Project Manager for the Phase 1D Research project in the Queen Street Campus Redevelopment. For more information, visit . Project Overview Phase 1B (540,000 sqft) and Phase 1C (650,000 sqft) have been completed. Two projects are currently in pre‑construction: Phase 1D (Forensic) and Phase 1D (Research). The role supports the Phase 1D Research project. Key Accountabilities Lead and execute project work streams as assigned. Hold accountability for project management and coordination within Redevelopment Office Portfolio. Identify, document, and provide mitigation strategies for potential project risks and issues; elevate as appropriate. Facilitate all aspects of project team meetings (scheduling, agenda, minutes, follow‑up). Participate in external stakeholder meetings; prepare minutes and follow‑up. Work with on‑site contractors, design teams, and consultants to manage risk and address issues proactively. Update and maintain project databases (e‑Builder, MS SharePoint, and other platforms). Assist Project Director and Senior Project Manager on areas required for project success. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Support technical oversight of mechanical, electrical, IT, structural, acoustics, etc. Develop work plans for project work streams. Coordinate contract administration of construction projects, including: Track and document RFI responses and hospital submittals via e‑Builder. Issue Site Instructions. Assist with change management. Conduct site reviews/inspections and prepare reports, including project issues log. Review and assess progress against schedule and contractual compliance. Review, develop, and deliver reports, communications, and presentations. Review design and construction documents including drawings and specifications. Contribute to performance specification development and other design data for typical P3 projects. Participate in development and review of purchase orders, RFQ, RFP, and Project Agreements for P3 projects. Assist with Ministry of Health capital planning submissions. Job Requirements Education / Specific Training Post‑secondary degree in architecture, engineering or related discipline. Working knowledge of project schedules, budgets, technical requirements, contract structure and other matters relating to project planning and implementation. Experience 5–7 years of progressive experience on large‑scale ($50M+), complex healthcare infrastructure projects. Experience with a general contractor preferred; thorough knowledge of contract management in diverse environments. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). Experience with document storage management via MS SharePoint. Experience with e‑Builder, MS Project or Primavera P6 scheduling software is an asset. Experience working with diverse clients and stakeholders. Judgment and Analytical Skills Analytical problem‑solving ability. Ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines. Attention to detail and synthesis of complex data. Independent, self‑directed work with minimal supervision. Communication / Interpersonal Skills Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
