Job Description

Our client is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join their fast-paced marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B marketing, with expertise in SEO, lead generation, ad campaigns, event campaigns, email marketing, retargeting ads, web management, blog management, and other digital marketing strategies.


This role is full-time, on-site at the client's office in Downtown Vancouver.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Conduct keyword research, optimize website content and landing pages for search engines, monitor SEO performance metrics, and develop strategies to improve organic search ranking.
  • Lead Generation: Develop and implement lead generation campaigns across various channels (e.g., website forms, landing pages, webinars, ebooks). Analyze lead data and identify high-performing campaigns.
  • Paid Advertising: Manage and optimize pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and social media platforms. Develop compelling ad copy and creatives for maximum ROI.
  • Event Marketing: Assist with planning, promotion, and execution of online and offline marketing initiatives for industry events and webinars.
  • Email Marketing: Develop and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, promote content, and drive conversions. Utilize email marketing automation tools to personalize communications.
  • Retargeting Ads: Implement retargeting ad campaigns to re-engage website visitors and increase conversion rates.
  • Content Marketing: Contribute to the creation and management of high-quality content (e.g., blog posts, white papers, case studies) that educates the target audience and positions our client as a thought leader.
  • Web Management: Collaborate with the development team to maintain and update the client's website, ensuring user-friendliness and brand consistency.
  • Video Marketing: Creating short promotional videos, explainer videos, or customer testimonials.
  • Basic HTML/CSS Knowledge: Useful for making small edits to landing pages, email templates, etc., without needing extensive developer support.
  • A/B Testing: Setting up and analyzing A/B tests for landing pages, ad campaigns, or email subject lines to continually improve conversion rates.
  • Social Media Marketing: Manage the client's social media presence across various platforms, develop engaging content, and interact with followers.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, identify areas for improvement, and report key metrics to stakeholders.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in a digital marketing role, with a focus on B2B marketing
  • Experience working in a fast paced startup or scale up environment
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
  • Experience with PPC advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
  • Experience with HubSpot, Hootsuite, Wordpress.
  • Proficiency in email marketing automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot)
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
