Key Responsibilities The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis will play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision‐making across the organization. This position will provide insights, analysis, and recommendations to business partners, influence resource allocation, and support initiatives that drive profitable growth. Strategic Planning & Analysis: support development and execution of the company’s long-term strategic plan, including market analysis and competitive benchmarking; conduct research on industry trends; develop and maintain complex financial models. Financial Planning, Forecasting and Reporting: develop and manage the annual budget and rolling forecasts, identifying and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs); analyze actual results versus budget, provide variance analysis and actionable insights; prepare and present financial reports to management and investors. Business Partnering: act as a trusted advisor to senior management on a wide range of strategic and financial issues; collaborate with cross‑functional teams to evaluate financial impact of initiatives, challenge assumptions and identify areas for cost optimization, growth acceleration or process improvement; communicate financial results to stakeholders. Process Improvement: identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes, reporting systems, and data accuracy; leverage technology to automate and enhance financial reporting and analysis; help mentor junior team members and build scalable FP&A processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally in a fast‑paced or growth‑oriented environment. Experience in the CPG industry or prior experience in management consulting is preferred. Professional accounting designation or MBA considered an asset. Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities; attention to detail and ability to see the big picture. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non‑financial stakeholders.
