As a Facilities & Club Openings Project Manager a typical day might include the following Leading the full lifecycle of projects — from planning to launch — for new club openings, renovations, and capital initiatives. Acting as the go‑to coordinator between Operations, Design, IT, Marketing, and other teams to keep projects on track. Translating big‑picture goals into clear timelines, deliverables, and actionable plans. Hosting project meetings, tracking milestones, and proactively resolving issues before they escalate. Managing procurement for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), including fitness gear, tech systems, and décor. Building strong vendor relationships to ensure quality, pricing integrity, and on‑time delivery. Issuing purchase orders, reconciling invoices, and maintaining accurate budget visibility. Driving cost‑saving opportunities and process improvements across procurement and supply chain activities. Coordinating post‑opening activities like system training and vendor follow‑up to ensure smooth operations. Documenting lessons learned and sharing best practices to continuously improve future projects. Communicating clearly and consistently with leadership and cross‑functional teams to maintain alignment and accountability. To land this role you need to have Post‑secondary diploma in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 3 – 5 years of experience in project coordination or management, ideally within retail, hospitality, or fitness sectors. Proven success in procurement, CapEx management, or multi‑stakeholder project execution. Experience and strong understanding of construction, interior design and facilities is preferred. Strong financial and administrative acumen with experience in budgeting and reporting. Excellent communication, organization, and relationship‑building skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and other project management tools. A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset — and genuine enthusiasm for fitness and wellness.
