About the Company Our client is a leading insurance provider. They are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join their team Why Work Here Supportive culture Room for growth Personal days CPA dues covered Excellent benefits About the Opportunity Preparation of federal GST/HST returns and provincial sales tax returns Preparation of premium/fire tax returns Assist with preparation of Federal and provincial corporate income tax returns Preparation of quarterly income tax provision calculations Assist with other tax compliance tasks including tax instalments, and account reconciliations Provide support in internal and external audits, including various other tax issues, assessments, and inquiries About You Bachelors Degree 4 or more years of experience in the Corporate Tax area or accounting. OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Corporate Tax area or accounting. OR Company Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Corporate Tax area or accounting. Experience in income tax. Statutory accounting knowledge. Knowledge of the federal and provincial income tax legislation and regulations Knowledge of the federal and provincial income tax legislation and regulations Working knowledge of the insurance industry and the unique rules associated with accounting and tax reporting CPA Certification or enrolled in the program Tax internship and/or professional experience in public or corporate accounting Strong spreadsheet skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Salary Range $85,000 - $100,000 / year How to Apply Click the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
