We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Strategy Manager, Contracts & Negotiations to join us. Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together: As the commercial architect for our key growth initiatives, you will be at the heart of how we build and expand our PureFibre program. You will support the development and execution of critical commercial agreements, ensuring they are not only financially sound but also structured to create maximum value and drive our core business objectives. This role is for an individual who can navigate intricate negotiations and translate business strategy into clear, enforceable contract terms. Your expertise will directly enable the partnerships that fuel our growth. Support Commercial Negotiations: You will support the end‑to‑end negotiation process for a portfolio of critical agreements. This includes drafting and redlining term sheets in partnership with legal teams, identifying commercial risks, and driving discussions to secure favourable terms for large‑scale programs. Ensure Commercial & Financial Viability: You will apply your strong financial acumen to interpret business cases and financial models, challenge assumptions, and ensure that negotiated commercial terms translate into beneficial financial outcomes for TELUS. Act as the Commercial Hub for Key Deals: You will work in close collaboration with our internal corporate finance, corporate development, and legal teams, as well as with external advisors. You will be the central point of contact, responsible for aligning all stakeholders on agreement management, deal structures and execution pathways. Develop Innovative Commercial Frameworks: Go beyond standard templates to devise creative and effective commercial solutions, including structuring complex third‑party deals. You will find new ways to create win‑win scenarios with our partners and give TELUS a competitive edge. Qualifications You're the missing piece of the puzzle We are looking for a commercial professional with a deep understanding of business drivers and a talent for structuring sound agreements. 5–8+ years of experience from a transaction advisory group or a commercial management role focused on structuring and negotiating complex agreements, particularly within the infrastructure space. A proven track record across the entire deal lifecycle, from initial concept and term sheet through to negotiation and final execution. An expert negotiator with a sharp ability to draft and scrutinise commercial terms to manage risk and maximise value. A natural collaborator, skilled at working with internal finance and legal teams, and confident in managing relationships with external advisors. Great‑to‑haves A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field. CPA designation is strongly preferred. Experience in the telecommunications, infrastructure, or technology sectors. Experience in a role that required interaction with senior leadership. Salary Range: $102,000–$154,000 Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15% Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
