Executive Director – Strategy, Planning & Performance Salary: An attractive remuneration package commensurate with the position will be offered. Location: Perth Unit / Division: East Metropolitan Health Service Work Type: Fixed Term – Full Time Position No.: Closing Date: 4:00 PM (YYYY-MM-DD) This is a fixed term full‑time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight, for an initial 10‑month contract, with possibility of extension(s). Selection Process Use While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision. Position Profile The Executive Director – Strategy, Planning & Performance oversees health service strategic direction for area‑wide clinical strategy, performance and service delivery for the East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) as well as responsible for driving progress for strategic projects that have cross‑functional interfaces and delivery requirements for EMHS. Responsible for the development and implementation of community health promotion programmes, strategy, clinical performance and planning, and risk management development, and provides advice on critical issues, opportunities and risks. Organisation The East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) comprises an extensive hospital and health service network that aims to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of more than 790,000 Western Australians in its catchment area. Our hospital network works together to provide a combination of tertiary, secondary and specialist health care services including emergency and critical care, state trauma, elective and emergency surgery, general medical, mental health, inpatient and outpatient services, aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation and women’s, children’s and neonates services.
