HVAC Mechanical Sales Representative TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly motivated HVAC Mechanical Sales Representative to generate sales primarily to mechanical contractors within the lower mainland territory. The role involves promoting and selling a wide range of HVAC mechanical products, building strong relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs. Compensation Range $140,000 - $160,000 Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with mechanical contractors, building and nurturing long‑term partnerships to drive sales growth. Promote and sell a diverse line of mechanical products, aligning product offerings with contractor needs. Provide in‑depth technical assistance during product selection, design, and project planning, ensuring solutions meet specific project requirements and specifications. Collaborate with contractors to understand their unique project needs, offer expert advice, and identify opportunities to deliver value through customised mechanical equipment solutions. Prepare and deliver accurate quotations, proposals, and tenders for mechanical products, ensuring compliance with project specifications and competitive pricing. Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and opportunity identification to closing sales and providing post‑sale support. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies to provide contractors with cutting‑edge solutions and maintain a competitive edge in the market. Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, or technical issues that arise during or after the sales process. Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the HVAC or mechanical equipment industry, with a strong background in selling to mechanical contractors. In‑depth experience with HVAC mechanical equipment, knowledge of their applications and technical aspects is a significant asset. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building strong relationships with contractors. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to offer technical support and guidance to contractors in selecting and applying mechanical equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to clients. Strong negotiation and closing abilities, with experience managing all aspects of the sales cycle. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems. A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or relevant industry experience. A proactive, results‑driven individual with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and as part of a team.
